A demonstration against fatalities in workplaces. Carmen was widowed in 2020. Her partner, Angelo, died after being in a coma for 210 days after an incident at workplace during a transformer moving operation. They already had one child, and Carmen was also pregnant with their second child. The sign reads: “Against the logic of the profit that destroys the man and the nature.” (I took the photo before I knew who she was and why she was there; more about her in my blog post #03.)
